Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III # 6 | Comic Review

After the game-changing decision Lula Talisola, Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III # 6 deals with the fallout.

This book focused on the aftermath of Lula’s decision to leave the Jedi Order. She briefly recalled the memories still with her, before we launched right into a game being played by the survivors of the prison escape.

The Nihil, who escaped the Korvix Vorn prison ship before it was destroyed, show up on Eriadu with the Star Hopper. Before the ship can land, the current and former Padawan try to attack the ship to retake it; however, the Star Hopper jumps to hyperspace with their path engine before they can board.

If I’m completely honest, this book didn’t feel like a complete story for me. The one thing that I’ve loved about this series — whether it’s been in Phase I, II, or III — is that every book felt like a complete story within the other overarching story.

The story that we did get, I liked, but it just felt more like an interlude to get us to the next part of this story more than anytime else.

The artwork, as always, was fantastic, and the colorwork remains some of my favorite. The book is and has always been gorgeous.
