Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III # 11 | Comic Review

With the Battle of Eriadu coming up, Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III # 11 moves set pieces into place for what sound be an exciting showdown.

We know that the Battle of Eriadu is the climax of Phase III, so the key to a good comic series is laying the foundation for for how we get there.

It was nice that a few characters from some of the junior novels made an appearance like Gavi and the Scarlett Skulls on the planet Valo. Plus, everyone loves when Ram Jomaram makes an appearance. BUT, even better was the return of Therm Scissorpunch!

How are these younger Jedi going to successfully defend two separate planets without the help of any of their senior brethren in the Order? I’m excited to see what happens here, and I really hope we don’t lose anybody in the process. (I doubt that we will, but you never know.)

I’ve become so accustomed to a certain “look” for many of the characters in The High Republic Adventures that I have to admit I was slightly taken aback by the sudden change in a few character appearances.

Some of the new characters, however, looked absolutely fantastic. I also liked the look of many Nihil characters, including The Warden who probably looked better than he ever has. Trust me, Caio Filipe nailed it.

I really think The High Republic Adventures is maybe the best Star Wars comic series ever, so you should of course check it out.
