They did it again with another fantastic episode of What If…?, and this one featuring Hela! In “What If… Hela Found the Ten Rings?”, we were treated to what is essentially a crossover between Thor Ragnarok and Shang-Chi, and it is delightful.

In a similar story to the third Thor movie, Odin bans Hela from Asgard due to her bloodlust; however, this time, he banishes her try Earth where she is found by the Mandarin and his army. In the attack, we realize that Hela has lost her powers, and she’s no longer able to lift her helmet. Hela is no longer worthy.

The Mandarin sees Hela as a potential ally and works to try and convince her to join his side. She attacks and escapes where she meets Morris the Hundun. Morris guides her to Ta Lo where she trains.

Okay, enough recapping this thing. The epic fight between Odin and Hela and the Mandarin is probably the best from all of What If…? It was awesome, and they pulled no punches in the brutality.

It was really cool seeing Hela in her white suit at the end. She and the Mandarin went off into the sunset to conquer the nine realms and bring peace and freedom to all throughout the entire universe.
