The Bad Batch season 3 kicks off with the greatest escape

I’ve been eagerly anticipating the final season of The Bad Batch, and I can’t believe it’s finally here. The first three episodes were released for the debut this week, and what an incredible season debut it was.

It picks up almost where we left off at the end of season two which was easy to tell thanks to the scratches in the wall of her cell that Omega was using to count the passing days. She tries to talk to Crosshair about an escape that he no longer wants any part of.

We also learned in this period that the experiments that the Empire needed Nala Se and Omega back for was they are trying to increase the “m-count” in cloned DNA. Which, obviously, is midichlorian count that were also exploring in The Mandalorian.

Meanwhile, Hunter and Wrecker end up rescuing three younger clones who were left abandoned at an old Imperial research facility. They’re trying to find Omega and Crosshair (Though, I should point out that they only mention Omega.)

Jump to what appears to be several months later, Omega (who now has a ponytail!) needs to escape. Someone is coming (Palpatine!), and the distraction ends up being what Omega and Crosshair need to escape.

These three episodes were great. I loved the desolation in episode one, the horror elements in episode two, and the action in episode three.

I can’t wait for next week’s episode. I love The Bad Batch. The show that I wasn’t excited for when it was announced is coming in clutch with amazing episodes. This final season is going to be a wild ride.
