I’m so glad that The Bad Batch is back. Last week, we got the best escape with Omega and Crosshair getting out of the Empire’s grip. This week, episode 4 brings us a reunion that we’ve all been waiting for.
They didn’t really waste a lot of time for viewers in how many episodes that we got Omega separated from Hunter and Wrecker, and I’m totally ok with that. Since this is the last season, I’m really hoping that we get some fun adventures with the remaining trio (RIP Tech) with Crosshair back in the mix now.
Honestly, when the episode ended, I nearly said out loud, “Wasn’t a lot of action again.” But I thought about it for a few seconds and realized that was dumb. There was some good action in this one from the opening ship crash to Omega and Crosshair escaping.
I am a little surprised that we’re not getting at least another episode or two with just Omega and Crosshair on their own. We knew from the trailer that they would be meeting up with Hunter and Wrecker at some point, but I thought we’d get a little more time.
It is interesting that they hinted at revealing what makes Omega special, but Hemlock held back just enough in his conversation with Nala Se. So, there’s no confirmation, but we’re all totally speculating Force activities, right?
I can’t wait for the next episode. The Bad Batch nails it week after week. Love my Star Wars animation.
