Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures: Echoes of Fear #1 | Comic Review

One of my favorite aspects of the high Republic publishing initiative from Lucasfilm has been the comic miniseries that we have gotten over the last several years. With the release of Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures: Echoes of Fear # 1, were diving into another mystery to help solve/understand the Jedi problem known as the Nameless.

I loved when Reath Silas was introduced and he talked about how he loved being at the Jedi Temple in Coruscant doing research instead of being out in the field. It was such a stark contrast to what we’re used to with Jedi who crave adventure.

Unraveling the mystery surrounding the Nameless is going to be key to the final phase of the entire High Republic publishing initiative. I love that we are using knowledge for an ancient Jedi to get there.

The many different things that came together for them to learn about the echo stones in this book was great. It’s a story being told by a member of an extinct religion, about an ancient Sith Lord, that is recorded on one of the oldest holocrons in the Jedi Temple. 🤌 Perfect.

I’m very excited to see where the story goes in this miniseries. I love this aspect of the High Republic, and I can’t wait for more.
