Marvel’s Star Wars: The High Republic #10 (Phase III) | Comic Review

The first Marvel miniseries from Phase III of the High Republic Era was completed with Star Wars: The High Republic # 10. The story had a satisfying ending while still leaving more to explore in the future.

My concern coming into the final book was that I didn’t see how they had enough time to wrap up the story while also setting up the future of Sskeer and Keeve Trennis. However, now that I know there’s going to be a second series in Phase III, I’m no longer concerned.

I can’t say that I’m a fan of Terec surviving and returning in this issue. It feels as though the stakes were lessened.

The ending full page spread of all of our heroes — Yes, including Lourna Dee. — standing over the unconscious body of Baron Boolan was great. Couldn’t have happened to a worse guy.

I’m excited for the next phase of Phase III. I was thrilled when they announced that Cavan and company would continue with a new series in this phase.
