Honestly, like most Star Wars shows, I really like every episode better than the last. I loved the introduction of Kh’ymm last week, but “Can’t Say I Remember No At Attin” was tremendous.
The Onyx Cinder arrives at the coordinate destination Jod Na Nawood stole from Kh’ymm, and finds At Attin! We’ll, not exactly. They find an almost exact replica of At Attin, but it’s mostly destroyed. Structures remain on the ground, but most of them have been through war (and are currently going through war). We later find out this is At Achrann — one of the jewels of the Old Republic that apparently wasn’t completely destroyed!
After providing a brief reprieve between two warring factions on the planet, the kids and Jod head to the “Fallen Sanctum” which looks suspiciously exactly like the Supervisor tower back on their own planet. They discover the names of what is very likely the other planets that Kh’ymm said were destroyed. Then, SM-33 revealed that he knows the location At Attin but he was programmed to never tell and kill anyone who asked by his previous captain.
Whoa! Maybe all the planets WEREN’T destroyed!
The coolest reveal in this episode is definitely that not all these planets were destroyed like Kh’ymm told us. While At Achrann isn’t in a good state, who knows what the other ones look like. They could have been destroyed, but they also could just be going through hard times. I hope we find out.
What an episode for Neel!
This was a huge episode for Neel.
We’ll start for the big part: HE GOT A KISS ON THE CHEEK! After helping the young French resistance Troika clan fighter, she gave him a kiss on the cheek before departing. Perhaps the things she learned from him will help heal this planet.
Neel’s bravery was also in full display in this episode. When SM-33 turned on his friends, Neel threw rocks at him to distract him and draw his attention. Knowing that SM-33 could rip him limb from limb, he still put himself in harms way to try and protect his friends. SURE, he was probably going to die before Jod powered down SM-33, but what a hero.
So, uh, do our heroes need to visit a certain droidsmith on Kijimi?
So, SM-33 has the coordinates to At Attin in his memory bank, and the kids need that information without him trying to kill them.
Will they need to go visit Babu Frik on Kijimi? As a pirate, Jod might have an established relationship with the Spice Runners of Kijimi. We could even run into Zorii Bliss who would be about the same age as our main crew.
