The latest episode of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew “You Have A Lot To Learn About Pirates” was the best of the series so far. That’s high praise, because this show has been full of great episodes
SM-33 takes the kids and Jod to Lanupa to find the lair of the Onyx Cinder’s former captain Tak Rennod’s. Come to find out, Jod knows all Rennod and how famous he is.
After some hilarious adventures on the new pleasure planet (SM-33 is pissed about this!), the kids and Jod find the lair after seemingly murdering all the pirates that were behind them in a brutal acid death.
Then, Jod turns on them. The kids barely escape, and Jod grabs the ancient lightsaber from either the Old Republic or High Republic.
I really think this is going to be my favorite show when the season ends.
Finally, the turn has happened.
I’ve been waiting for Jod to turn on the kids, and it finally happened. Jod is a nasty piece of work.
When he challenged Fern and then grabbed her with the knife at her thrust, I about lost it. That was infuriating. When I saw Wim with the lightsaber that was shown, I was initially excited. Then, he turned it on upside down and looked distraught.
Thankfully, the kids escaped through a hole in the floor, but I was pumped when Jod pulled that lightsaber to him to end the episode
Of course, I think he will use that lightsaber on At-Attin to save the kids. Right? He better!
This show feels more like Star Wars to me than the rest.
It’s hard to describe the feeling of watching something and thinking “This really feels like Star Wars“, but boy oh boy this really feels like Star Wars moreso than any other series.
Currently, The Mandolorian is my favorite of the Disney+ shows, but I think Skeleton Crew will be when it’s all said and done.
Jod has more names!
Dash Zentin. Jodwick Zank. Nobody knows his real name! This is a great mystery.
I’m going to assume that Jod Na Nawood is also not his real name? Or is that the real one? Who knows.
Having this be a mystery for the show has been a lot of fun.
