Poor Things was a wild ride | Movie Review
I had such a good time seeing Poor Things, and it was totally unexpected for me. If you’re down to watch a weird and funny movie, this is a must watch.

The most recent of the #Pixar #SparkShorts “Self” is a fantastic watch, and you should go out of your way to see it.
Strangely, I never went to see the Dune: Part One movie when it came out in theaters. I was really excited when the movie was announced, and I thought that the trailer looked great. I just never made the commitment in the fall of 2021 to get out to the theater to go see it.… Continue reading Dune: Part One wasn’t as great as I wanted it to be
I haven’t played any Mortal Kombat video games since I was kid. We didn’t have the game at home to play on console, but we would always play at the Take Ten Arcade at our local mall or at the arcade part of the skating rink Round-A-Bout. We didn’t have many fighting games at home… Continue reading Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match

When I was a kid, my younger brother and I would watch Scooby-Doo in the mornings before we left for school. They would air episodes of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? on TBS or TNT (maybe both), and we loved it. Scooby-Doo is always a good time.
I went out to see Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on New Year’s Day. It’s the finale of the Zack Snyder-based DC Extended Universe before we move on to James Gunn’s DC Universe. Let’s just say that I’m glad we’re here, and I’m ready to move on.
As someone who was a young teenager in the early 2000s, I missed out on watching a lot of the great action movies from the 1980s. I’ve been slowly catching up over the years, but I’m embarrassed to say that I haven’t seen them all. One of my favorites, however, is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Predator. It… Continue reading I hope Prey becomes the blueprint for new Predator movies
