I’ve been eagerly awaiting the trailer for season 3 of The Bad Batch, in Star Wars finally came through. And, boy oh boy, I was not expecting what I saw in that trailer.
Season 3 will wrap up a show that I initially had zero interest in when it was announced, but it hooked me from the very first episode. I never thought that Clone Force 99 would be as engaging as they have been. I can’t wait to see what happens with Omega, Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair. (RIP Tech)
Without going into any spoilers for things that I think they were trying to hide in the trailer (but I know were seen by more than just me), there’s obviously one major topic of discussion that we can’t ignore.
Asajj Ventress is back.
While we do know that Ventress died in the novel Dark Disciple, they have brought her back in some way to continue her story and add to the Bad Batch’s story.
However, according to supervising director Brad Rau, they know exactly what they’re going to do with Ventress.
“We don’t want to spoil anything, but want fans to know that any new storytelling with Ventress will align with the events of Star Wars: Dark Disciple.”
I, for one, can’t wait to see what happens.
