I remember when it was announced that Paramount+ would be putting a Halo show on the streaming service. It was exciting, because the thought of a great Halo show was amazing. Was it possible that we were going to get another great sci-fi show on the air?

Then, I watched the first season. It’s a little difficult for me to fully articulate my true feelings on the show. I don’t think the first season was great television. There were times that I didn’t think it was even good.

With that said, I had a good time watching it. The show entertained me. I watched every episode of the day it came out. At the end of the day, if I have fun watching the show then that’s good enough for me.

When the trailer for season two came out, however, I got a little excited. We will have to wait and see what the episodes actually look like when they come out, but this looks better than season one to me. Right?

The new season starts up this week, and I plan to watch every episode when they come out again. I like Pablo Schreiber, and my hope is that they give him a little bit more to work with this season.

The show doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to be good

Paramount+ released this really nice video this week on their YouTube channel about the upcoming season. They talk about how they used a lot more handheld cams for the action scenes instead of wide shots for a more intimate feeling. My hope is that it doesn’t make the show about a video game feel like a video game.
