One of my favorite aspects of the old DC Comics animated TV shows was the incorporation of so many different heroes and villains. That’s why I’ve always been excited for DC to expand into “non-mainline” heroes. Yes, this actually includes Aquaman.
When I was younger, I used to watch as many of the DC Comics animated shows and movies as I could. At some point, I fell off and stopped watching them. It wasn’t really an intentional “I’m not watching these anymore.”, but I just didn’t keep up anymore. I decided to change that.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting the trailer for season 3 of The Bad Batch, in Star Wars finally came through. And, boy oh boy, I was not expecting what I saw in that trailer.
When I was a kid, my younger brother and I would watch Scooby-Doo in the mornings before we left for school. They would air episodes of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? on TBS or TNT (maybe both), and we loved it. Scooby-Doo is always a good time.
Season 2 of Marvel’s What If…? comes to a wrap with “What If… Strange Supreme Intervened?”. The episode was short on story but heavy on action, and it brought the story being told over the first two seasons to a solid conclusion.
It’s clear by now that they’re building up Captain Britain Peggy Carter to make the crossover from animation into live action. That will likely come in the eventual Avengers: Secret Wars movie currently scheduled for 2027. They did it again with another fantastic episode of What If…?, and this one featuring Hela! In “What If… Hela Found the Ten Rings?”, we were treated to what is essentially a crossover between Thor Ragnarok and Shang-Chi, and it is delightful.
Well, folks, there we have it. The best episode of Marvel’s What If…? is season two episode eight: What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World? The episode features the debut of Kahhori to the MCU. Not only is this Kahhori’s debut in the MCU, but it’s her debut in Marvel as a whole.
